What is the Alberta Library (TAL)?

Member libraries strive to meet the information needs of Albertans through collaborative solutions and services that take advantage of existing and emerging technologies.
TAL card for learners, staff, and faculty
One of TAL's main services is a free card that grants access to the resources of participating libraries. Users may request a card at their local member library. Cardholders must be in good standing at their local library and follow the lending policies set by each participating library.
Bow Valley College learners, staff, and faculty may request a TAL card from the circulation desk staff in the library. TAL cardholders may borrow books from any participating library using their TAL card along with a photo ID and a proof of address. Borrowed materials may be returned to any participating library.
For further information on library materials available at participating libraries, search the online TAL catalogue.
