Patience Muchena received one of the most prestigious awards Bow Valley College offers. She is a resilient single mom who started at Bow Valley College for academic upgrading. With help from generous Calgarians who give to 1000 Women Rising, she recently graduated from our Practical Nurse Diploma program, pursuing her dream of becoming a pulmonary nurse.
