The BMO Mentorship Program is a unique opportunity for experiential learning. The program matches Business Administration Diploma students with a committed team of BMO employees. Specifically, it provides mentorship and coaching to students specializing in the Financial Services major in fostering personal development in the areas of leadership, personal branding, interview skills, and networking. What they practice with their mentors complements and reinforces what they're learning in the classroom.

"We speak specifically during various times during the course of the semester to match our practical learning with the curriculum," says Sue Nicholas, Regional Vice-President, BMO Calgary Central Market.
Students are given the tools they need to build confidence to make the transition from the classroom to the workplace. The application process requires students to submit a resume and an essay to BMO, who follows up with an interview and then selects the top candidates. This has been an amazing program for our learners to build strong self-development skills and we have even had students offered positions at BMO after graduation.
