Celebrating the holiday season and the spirit of giving

Top of the season to you!

Even though it has been snowing and the temperature has been chilly, this holiday season can bring out the warmth and goodness in our community. That’s because, this time of the year is when we find joy in giving to others to help brighten their season.

In this issue of Alumni Connections, we share the stories and successes of some of your fellow alumni: Jakub Strycharski who gives back by supporting current students at Bow Valley College, and Liz Nandee (Bow Valley College alumna - Oprah set designer - Avenue Top 40 Under 40 winner) who shares how Bow Valley College helped set her up for success.

We also pay tribute to Remembrance Day by honoring our veterans in the story Driven veteran lives fulfilling, disciplined life. In addition, be sure to check the listings of upcoming events, workshops, volunteer and job opportunities.
