Your MyBVC account is an online portal that allows you to access your student email account, OneDrive, D2L Brightspace account, college announcements, class schedule, unofficial transcripts, college policies, and more!
If you are a new student, the instructions to set up your myBVC account and password were sent to the personal email address you provided during the registration process.
MyBVC
At the top right of every Bow Valley College page, you can click on the Login Portal link to access your D2L or MyBVC portal. You can also type the link mybvc.ca in your address bar to go directly to your MyBVC student portal.
Use your MyBVC student email and password to sign in to your MyBVC portal.
From here, you can access D2L, OneDrive, student email, and important information related to your class schedule, fees, and Bow Valley College policies and campus services.
1. From your MyBVC account, click Mail at the top of the screen or type mail.mybvc.ca in your browser's address bar to go to your MyBVC email.
You can also add your MyBVC student email to your phone or tablet.

Changing your password
If you forget your password, you can request a password change from the Password Reset page.
- Enter your Student ID and your birth date on the form.
- Check your personal email (the email you used to register at Bow Valley College) for the link to reset your password.
For more information, check out the Password Reset handout. You can also contact the BVC Service Desk in person (3rd floor, North Campus), or call 403-410-1611 to request a password reset. Service Desk staff will ask questions to verify your identity.
If you reset your myBVC password, you will need to log in to all BVC services again - including WiFi.
Your new password must follow these rules:
- Your password cannot contain your name, Student ID number, or birth date
- Your password must be at least eight characters or more
- Your password must use at LEAST three things in this list:
- Lowercase letter
- Uppercase letter
- Number
- Symbol (eg: !@*%)
From the main MyBVC page, click on the Schedule option under the Registration menu.
It is important to keep your contact information up to date so that you do not miss out on critical communication from Bow Valley College.
You can update your address, phone number, email, etc., under the Registration tab.
Bow Valley College produces T2202 tax forms for learners in eligible programs by the end of February each year. You will be able to access and print your T2202 free of charge directly from the student web portal.
