Depending on whether you are currently a student at the college in a program (you have been active in the program in the past 9 months), about to start in your program, or are a former Bow Valley College learner, you will need to submit either a request for the letter you require through MyBVC portal or fill out and submit an Official Letter Request Form to Records via email.
Active College learners can request the following official letter through a request form available within MyBVC portal:
Confirmation of Enrolment Letter
Confirmation of Enrolment Letter can be issued upon request to any future or current college learner.
A learner is considered a future learner if they have been accepted into a program and have registered in at least one course for their first semester of studies.
A learner is considered a current learner if they are currently enrolled in courses for either ongoing or the future semester, or for leaners in post-secondary programs if they have taken at least one course in the past 9 months.
Note: If you are a learner in an accredited certificate or diploma program, please note that your expected program completion end date on the Confirmation of Enrolment Letter will be calculated as the end of the 3rd semester from your program start date for one-year programs, or as the end of the 6th semester from your program start date for two-year programs. Should you require a letter with a different expected program end date, please contact email@example.com before you submit the letter request to meet with and an Academic Advisor and set up an academic plan with a new program date to appear on the letter.
Former college learners can request the following official college letters by filling out Official Letter Request Form available on the college website by sending it to firstname.lastname@example.org
Withdrawal/Former Learner Letter
Withdrawal/Former Learner Letter can be issued upon request to any former post-secondary learners who have not graduated from their post-secondary program, or any other former college student who studied at the college and withdrew from their program or completed coursework without officially graduating and receiving an accredited post-secondary level credential.
Graduation Letter can be issued upon request to any Bow Valley College alumnus who graduated from their program of studies prior to July 1, 2021.
