Interim Director, Regional Stewardship
David Harvey, M.Ed., has 25 years of experience working in various management roles nationally and internationally. David has a Master of Education from the University of Saskatchewan and is currently working on his Doctor of Education at the University of Calgary. He is also a registered Canadian immigration consultant (RCIC – 514489).
Having worked in over 50 countries as well as at a number of post-secondary institutions in various Canadian jurisdictions (including Colleges and Institutes Canada), David has a robust national and international perspective in the education and skills development sectors.
David coordinated the successful completion of a number of projects related to program brokering, skills assessment, online learning, community-based governance, learner recruitment, and industry-based credential development. In continuing education, he has led the development of new programming in a wide variety of fields such as safety, law enforcement, rural development, entrepreneurship, project management, and strategic planning.
David's current interests include improving learning environments through deepening constituent group engagement and analytics-influenced decision-making.
