• They have completed an English language learning or upgrading program at Bow Valley College, and are now starting a post-secondary program.

In-Course Scholarships:
International students are eligible to apply for scholarships in this category if they are current Bow Valley College full-time students in good academic standing, and have already completed at least one academic term in their post-secondary program.

International Student Emergency Fund
Learners can be eligible for emergency bursaries as long as they are registered and in good academic standing.
Learners must not have any outstanding tuition and fees owed to the college when they apply. Emergency bursaries are for learners experiencing an unforeseen financial crisis that is affecting their ability to attend class and be successful. Typically, these requests would be related to basic needs such as food, shelter, etc.
Emergency bursaries cannot be used to pay for tuition and fees. You can apply for the International Student Emergency Fund through the student awards portal.
CEA Diploma Scholarship
Bow Valley College offers students registered in the Centre for Entertainment Arts diploma programs* a scholarship of $3,250 CAD up to $19,500 CAD. The scholarship is based on Portfolio assessment at the time of application and acceptance to the program and will be applied to tuition evenly at the start of each term in the program.
*The Foundation in Entertainment Arts certificate has no scholarship, only 2-year diploma programs are qualified for scholarship.
