Class Schedule: Monday to Thursday 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Classes will be taken online for the September 2020 term.
This full-time program is for immigrant youth between the ages of 18 and 24 who have not completed high school.
You'll study reading, writing, math, technology, and school strategies. You will also learn about the following:
- education and career paths in Canada
- presentation skills
- math and money
- college skills
- computer and Internet skills (we'll loan you a laptop)
There are four levels to this program. We'll place you based on how you do in an assessment. Contact Nadia Hart at 403.410.3475 to arrange for your assessment.
When you pass the Bridge program, you'll be ready for our Academic Preparation courses.
LINC seats available- funded by:
- 18 to 24 years old
- Interrupted formal education
- No high school diploma
All applicants must write a program placement assessment.
If you're a LINC applicant, you must take a Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) test through the Calgary Language & Assessment Referral Centre (CLARC). The telephone number for the centre is 403-262-2656. You must have CLB benchmarks of at least 3,3,2,2 to apply.

Youth in Transition (LINC)
LINC stands for Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada. This full-time program is for immigrant youth between the ages of 18 and 24.
LINC stands for Language Instruction for Newcomers to Canada. In this part time program, you'll learn listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. With LINC, you can get the knowledge you need to settle in Canada.
Our English Language Learning programs focus on reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Learn about Canadian culture and take part in activities that help you live and work in Canada.
