What has Bow Valley College done to reach Compliance?

Assessing: The College has identified where all cardholder data exists, has taken inventory of all IT assets and business processes involved in payment processing and has assessed these for vulnerabilities.

Remediating: The College has worked to address all identified vulnerabilities, has eliminated the storage of cardholder data, and has changed its processes to ensure even greater security when credit card payments are processed.

Reporting: The College has created the necessary documentation and reports to prove it is PCI DSS compliant and will perform yearly assessments to ensure continued compliance. The College continues to address and mitigate threats to cardholder data and College data, overall.

 

The College will repeat this cycle on a yearly basis to ensure continued compliance.
