Calgary Economic Development
Calgary Economic Development is a not-for-profit organization that works with business, government and community partners to position Calgary as the city of choice for business investment, fostering trade and skilled labour.
Working with Calgary Economic Development we collaborate to tell the public about the great work we do at the College, and the post-secondary options available in the City of Calgary. Recent examples include the release of an economic impact report, which highlighted the benefits of Calgary post-secondary institutions to the local economy.
The City of Calgary
The City of Calgary serves 1.2 million people who call the third largest municipality in Canada home. With an excellent quality of life, low taxes, proximity to nature and cleanliness, 40,000 new people arrive each year from across Canada and the world, making Calgary one of the most liveable cities on the planet.
The City of Calgary is located right across the street from the College. Have a question about your taxes? Need a permit? Or perhaps you want to go see a City Council session. Just head over to City Hall, grab a coffee from the Good Earth, and take it all in, especially the decorations during Stampede.
Calgary Chamber
The Calgary Chamber acts on behalf of the business community in Calgary, advocating all levels of government to implement the policies needed to ensure Calgary is a great place to do business. The Chambers does whatever it takes to make its members' business more successful.
The Chamber is one of the many groups we work with to ensure we have good ties to industry. This helps us to hear about industry needs, so that we can make sure we have relevant programs, and that we are producing the graduates that the local economy needs.
