Bow Valley College is a board governed institution, operating under the authority of the Alberta Post-secondary Learning Act and in accordance with the Alberta Public Agencies Governance Act.
The Board is the governing body of Bow Valley College. They are responsible and accountable for the operational and financial governance of the College, including making and administering policy and operational controls, setting strategic direction and monitoring performance, and approving the College's operating and capital budgets, financial statements and reports.
